Warm your senses. Traditionally. ASAVI® Heritage Masala Chai brings the soul of a real Indian household chai back to your cup. Whole green cardamom, black cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, dry ginger, black pepper, fennel, tulsi and rose petals are slowly hand blended at cool temperatures, never blasted through high-speed steel mills. Every spice keeps its natural oils, and every cup carries the deep, layered warmth of chai the way it was always meant to be.
- Nine Whole Spices, Nothing Else: No chai "flavouring", no essence, no sugar, no fillers. Only real, whole spices.
- Hand Blended, Not Steel-Milled: locking in the volatile oils that give masala chai its depth and aroma.
- Your Chai, Your Way: This is a pure spice blend with no tea leaf, made to be brewed with your own milk and favourite tea.
The Integrity & The Flavour
- The Integrity: Most packaged chai masalas are ground in industrial steel pulverisers that run hot enough to scorch off the very oils that make chai aromatic, then they are padded out with cheaper spices and artificial flavour. ASAVI® hand blends each whole spice, so what reaches your cup is the full, honest aroma of the spice itself.
- The Flavour: Warm cardamom sweetness up front, the gentle bite of dry ginger and black pepper in the middle, and a lingering finish of cinnamon, clove and a whisper of rose. It is bold enough to stand up to milk and balanced enough to drink every day.
The ASAVI® Promise
Why Heritage Masala Chai Counters the Industrial Rush
Industrial chai blends are built for volume. Spices are ground at high speed, stored for months as powder, and "refreshed" with flavouring to fake the aroma that was lost in processing. The result is a chai that smells strong in the pack and tastes flat in the cup.
ASAVI® does things differently. We hand blend whole spices in small batches, so the natural oils stay inside until the moment you brew. When you drop a tea bag into hot water, you get the aroma of a chai being made in a grandmother's kitchen, not a factory.
How to Use & Store
- Usage: Add 1 tea bag per cup to boiling water. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the pouch sealed after every use to protect the spice oils. Best used within 24 months.
