Extra Long Grain Basmati Rice

BACK TO BASICS-

ASAVI® Basmati Rice is one of the longest grain in the world. It is carefully grown in the fertile soil of Haryana, processed without adding artificial chemicals, color or aroma.  

INFORMATION-

Basmati Rice is gluten free, low in GI and cholesterol free. It is very low in fat and sodium. When cooked, it reaches an average length of 21.55 mm, with very distinctive, unique and nutty flavor releasing natural aroma of 'flowers'. Just like the wine, this Basmati improves with age. 

P.S- Artificial aroma is common in Basmati Rice. Since 2023 FSSAI has strongly restricted all processors to use any artificial aroma in any rice variety. Natural Basmati Rice does NOT have very strong aroma.

USAGE-

Soak rice for at least for 30 mins before cooking. It is widely used in preparing Pulao, Biryani and variety of other dishes.  

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS-

It can easily be stored for up to 24 months or more in an airtight container at ambient temperatures.

A1- Many brands have been using artificial aroma while processing rice which led to cancer and other serious illnesses. In August 2023, FSSAI strongly restricted this practice and alerted all processors to stop using it. ASAVI® Basmati Rice is a 100% natural product with subtle aroma and the longest grain in the world.
